Underrated Comedies:

• Pootie Tang - The thing about Pootie Tang is, you either love it or you hate it. I think the problem is that too many people try to take it seriously and don't have fun with what it is: a dumb comedy. Some knowledge of blaxploitation films helps. I laughed my ass off.

• My Boyfriend's Back (a.k.a. "Johnny Zombie") - They really marketed this to the wrong people. It was marketed to the "teenage grossout" crowd when its real fans are the "ironic geeks". Come on, it's got the line, "Now am I wrong, or do you have to eat the flesh of the living to survive?" spoken by a nice midwestern mom. Also, the "flesh of the living" in question is a small boy with a lollypop.

• Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion - Screw you, it was a great movie.

• Cold Comfort Farm - BBC movie based on the book of the same name. It's a parody of 1800s gothic novels and I've seen it way too many times.

• L.A. Story - I don't know why, but this movie gets funnier every time I see it.

• College Hounds - See my previous entry on this movie. I don't feel like looking up the url and linking it right now. Maybe later.
